This policy applies to the marketing website, the FinanceFlowPro web application, and related support and billing processes.

3. Roles (GDPR)

• For account/contact/billing data, we typically act as a data controller.
• For customer financial content you upload or synchronize (e.g., bank transactions and classifications), we typically act as a data processor on your instructions.

4.1 Account & organization

• Name, email, authentication/session data
• Organization settings, member roles
• Support communications

4.2 Customer financial content

• Transaction records (date, amount, currency, description, counterparty where present)
• Categories/labels (suggested/validated), transfer markers
• Import metadata (dedupe fingerprints, signatures, line numbers)

4.3 Billing

• Subscription status and billing identifiers processed via our payment provider

4.4 Technical & security

• Logs, error diagnostics, security/audit events where needed for integrity and traceability

• Provide the service (contract performance)

6. AI features

If you enable AI-assisted categorization, we send only the minimum transaction attributes needed to generate category suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate; you remain responsible for validation before use.

7. Sharing & sub-processors

We use third-party providers strictly as required to deliver the service (e.g., hosting, database/auth, payments, and optional AI services). We do not sell your personal data.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country depending on our providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses).

9. Retention

We retain data only as long as needed for the service and legal requirements. Customer content is retained while your account is active unless deleted by you or otherwise required by law.
